MISSION

" To improve the health and well-being of the people through prevention and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases, provide essential health care and promote health awareness. "

 

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. Reduction of maternal mortality rate.
2. Reduction of population growth rate by promoting family welfare.
3. Eliminate severe and moderate malnutrition
4. Arrest the increasing trends in HIV/AIDS prevalence.
5. Prevention of increase in TB prevalence
6. Maintenance of Malaria free status
7. Significant reduction in morbidity of acute respiratory infection
8. Achieve zero morbidity status for all immunisable diseases except TB and hepatitis

Control and maintenance of zero transmission of leprosy and filarial and other vector borne diseases.
Prevention and control of epidemics.
